We process and protect personal information in accordance with regulations and laws. In this privacy statement, we have compiled the data processing principles and practices that we follow. We will update the privacy statement whenever the situation so requires.

4.Purpose of keeping the register and Legal basis of the processing the data

Dance Up Academy collects information about course registrations for the purposes of billing and delivering course updates.

5. Content of the register

We collect the personal information below. All personal information will be removed from the databases with 5 years of not being an active student. Sensitive information such as social security numbers and encrypted, making them impossible to be read in the case of a leak.

  • Social Security Number

  • Telephone number
  • Postal address and domicile
  • Current employer/ place of study
  • Preferences in regard to use of images and social media
  • Course participation

6. Regular sources of information

We do not rely on other sources of information beyond what is provided by customers.

7. Data disclosure, transfer and protection

No data is ever shared with third parties and is always treated as confidential. 

8. Use of cookies

We use only functional cookies to store anonymous settings to make the website work properly, such as the user's language and whether certain information should be displayed if it is a first visit. 

9. Inspection, prohibition and rectification A

Right of person has the right to inspect what information about him or her is stored in the register.
The person has the right to demand the rectification, deletion or restriction of the processing.
The person has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

10. Protection of the register

The database uses SSL and is behind a firewall. Our database access is restricted to a few individuals and sensitive information is encrypted. Database useage and monitored and backups are destroyed after a short period.
